2017 ASEE Northeast Section Conference

The American Society for Engineering Education Northeast Section (ASEE-NE) invites papers, presentations, and posters for our annual conference hosted at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from April 27th thru 29th, 2017. The conference theme is Innovations in Engineering Education - Past & Present.

Faculty can submit full papers or abstracts for presentations for the conference. Faculty presentations will be conducted on either Friday, April 28th or Saturday, April 29th. Undergraduate and graduate students can submit abstracts for the student poster competitions as well as papers. Student poster competitions and student paper presentations will take place on Saturday, April 29th. Free workshops will also be available to students on Saturday, April 29th. Awards will be made for best student paper, best student poster, best professional paper, and best professional presentation. All submitted papers and presentation abstracts will be peer reviewed.

CRITICAL DATES FOR THE CONFERENCE
April 10th, 2017: Deadline for submission of abstract (faculty and student papers, faculty presentations)
April 17th, 2017: Deadline for submission of abstracts (student poster competitions)
April 17th, 2017: Deadline for submission of draft papers
April 24th, 2017: Final program published
April 27th, 2017: Teaching workshops conducted at UMass Lowell University Crossing Building
April 28th, 2017: 1st Day of conference at UMass Lowell Inn and Conference Center with opening remarks, keynote lunch, professional panels, World Energy Simulation workshop, social hour, and conference banquet
April 29th, 2017: 2nd Day of conference at UMass Lowell's University Crossing and North Campus with breakfast, student posters competitions (undergraduate and graduate), student paper presentations, student workshops, and professional panels. An early afternoon conference lunch will present awards to both faculty and students followed by the ASEE-NE business meeting.
